I am
Christopher Gwilliams, a first year PhD student at Cardiff School of Computer Science, studying the effects of local, and global, knowledge on Wireless Sensor Networks. Below is a list of my main research interests:
- The effects of local and global knowledge on the deployment, and long-term running, of a sensor network;
- In-network processing and its benefit to end-user, providing relevant and timely updates to only the required information;
- Sensor middleware and their running on more computationally capable sensors in a network;
- Sensor network deployment, and maintenance, that can be performed by end-users without any technical knowledge.
